I love this camera

I have had my fair share of "security" cameras like this one, that I use to watch my kids when I'm not able to be in the room with them. This is by dlfar the best I've used and the best app. I love that it has zones that you can switch between, scanning mode, and that you can throw an sd card in there and never pay a dime for a subscription service. The sound and picture are clear and you absolutely cannot hear the quality for the price. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

Easy setup, Works well

I followed the instructions and had the camera set up in 15 minutes. I bought the 1286 gb SD card. I have it set for 24/7 recording and just have it set for person detection. I use it to monitor my husband's late night wakenings as he has dementia and has had a mini stroke. He sleep walks sometimes so I have peace of mind knowing that he is being safe while he is up. I also have a baby monitor type unit in his room to alert me to sounds (I've had this for a few years), so I don't have to use the sound detection feature on the xiaovv. The quality of the recording is clear esp. when the room is dark. The pan/tilt feature works well enough to fine tune the position of the camera. I will be purchasing another one of these for the upstairs room. For such a reasonably-priced camera, it works very well for my needs.
